The ViTelCare™ Patient Monitoring Software

The ViTelCare patient monitoring software is an intuitive, feature rich, health monitoring application designed and developed to minimize the patient navigational process while automating the acquisition of daily vital sign monitoring readings. Vital sign readings and all navigating buttons are located on the main touch-screen desktop. Each health assessment question is displayed individually in 3/8 inch text and accompanied with audio.

There is random education displayed on preselected questions and there and an educational module link from the main desktop which contains general information on five disease management protocols.

There are two health assessment versions available:

The Standard Version

The standard version contains a series of behavior and general questions specific to the patient's primary monitoring disease. Patients respond to the questions by selecting the choice that best describes their current condition. Selections are chosen from either; none/better/worse, true/false, no/yes or 0-10. Negative responses to certain behavioral questions will envoke a secondary or branching follow-up question that must be answered.

Some questions have random education buckets that will display education based on that response, and specific to that question. When that education bucket has been exhausted the system will then go to a general bucket and display general disease management education.

The Likert Version

The Likert version contains 10 behavior and general disease specific questions. The patient will be asked to rank where they are in a certain parameter, using a scale of 0-5, where 0 being none, and 5 being the most. The patient may also be asked a question to respond to by answering either no or yes. No and yes responses are awarded a value in the Likert version of either 0 or 5 respectfully.

There are a total of 10 different assessment parameters for each protocol. The healthcare professional can look at the individual alerts for each parameter, the daily overall score, the weekly overall score, and the monthly overall score. Trending and statistical analysis can then be accomplished by using these scores. The patient's daily score will fall in the range of 0-50 points.
