Monitoring System Overview
The ViTelCare monitoring system connects — in-home patients and their monitoring units, senior living residents using multi-user monitoring units and wound care nurses in the field; with healthcare professionals at monitoring workstations.

Patient monitoring units contain the ViTelCare software with either the Standard or Likert version health assessment modules.
How the system works.
A patient using integrated medical devices takes their health measurements, such as: weight, blood pressure and SpO2. They then answer the health assessment questions which are specific to their diagnosis using the touch-screen monitor. After completeing the assessment, the patient simply presses the "send" button and the monitoring session results are encypted, compressed and sent to the central repository, and the database is updated with the results.
The clinician logs onto to the monitoring system using their Vulink workstation or through their work PC using their internet browser. From their assigned patient list they select which patient to review based on alarm results sent to the repository. After reviewing the data the clinician can then follow-up with a revised treatment plan with the patient.
